During the first edition of Train & Rail, a paid conference was held. Ahead of Train & Rail 2025, it will be replaced by two open stages in the exhibition hall. This means that all trade show visitors will have access to all program events—at no extra cost. Train & Rail will be held at Stockholmsmässan on May 6–8, 2025.
When Train & Rail, the Nordic region’s largest trade show for sustainable rail transport, opens its doors at Stockholmsmässan on May 6, visitors will be greeted by a packed and exciting seminar program.
“The seminar program covers current topics such as sustainable rail development, digitalization and new technology, safety, and the future of mobility,” explains Monika Johannesen Widholm, project manager for Train & Rail.
All visitors will have the opportunity to hear from leading experts and participate in discussions that will shape the future of rail. One of the stages will also feature English-language sessions to meet the needs of international visitors and exhibitors.
ERTMS is one of many topics to be discussed on stage, as is the railway sector’s talent pipeline, with a focus on the workforce of the future. The Swedish Transport Administration will also host several events throughout the week, including a session on railway research and innovation.
In addition to this, there will also be a Speakers’ Corner, where exhibitors, among others, will have the opportunity to give presentations in close dialogue with the audience.
We on the program committee are very pleased with the seminar program, which features representatives from across the entire industry. “The two main stages provide the breadth needed to discuss the many issues facing the rail industry, but with a focus on how we can solve these challenges,” says Monika Johannesen Widholm.
